Born and raised in Long Island, New York, Meringolo was drawn to music at an early age, inspired by legends like Barbra Streisand and Johnny Mathis, Liza Minnelli, Donna Summer & Bette Midler. She began singing professionally in her early twenties developing a rich, resonant voice that would later become her trademark. Her organic approach in vocal performance helped shape her exceptional range and emotive delivery, allowing her to captivate audiences with a deep emotional connection to her material.
Marieann’s talent has earned her numerous awards and recognition. She was most recently the recipient of the 2026 MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabaret) Award for Major Artist - Female. Her shows are often praised for their heartfelt storytelling, as she blends musicality with personal narratives, creating intimate experiences for her audiences.
